NU Begins 2016 in Oxford, Miss.

The No. 8 Nebraska rifle team opens 2016 in Oxford, Miss., on Jan. 16.  The Huskers will compete against No. 16 Ole Miss and second-ranked Murray State beginning at 1 pm.

NU finished the first half of the season with a win over Akron on Senior Day, beating the Zips by more than 50 points on Nov. 21.

Nebraska has a history of dominance over both teams. Last season, Nebraska faced each team twice and went 4-0. Overall, the Huskers are 11-5 against Murray State and 23-4 against Ole Miss.
