LINCOLN, Neb. - A total of 10 student-athletes from the Nebraska cross country teams received academic All-Big Ten honors, the conference office announced on Wednesday.
Five members of the men's team made the list. Matt Gilbert (actuarial science/accounting/finance), Wyatt McGuire (elementary education), Jacob Olson (chemical engineering), Austin Post (biological sciences) and Alec Sery (chemical engineering) earned academic all-conference honors.
For the women, five Huskers were also honored: Elizabeth Carpino (animal science), Kendall Cast (chemical engineering), Haley Harsin (biological sciences), Megan Lush (biological systems engineering) and Bonnie Smith (elementary education).
