Two NCAA national team championships in volleyball and bowling, two Nebraska inductees into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, one Husker inductee into the College Football Hall of Fame and a World Series hero who grew up in Lincoln and still lives here represent five of the Top 15 moments in the N-Sider's 2015 annual year-ending column.
Somehow, the Huskers found a way to deliver Nebraska's greatest peak performance of the year in Omaha, the state's largest city that continues to prove itself as the world's most inspirational home for NCAA volleyball. Such status is not coincidental, especially when measured with Omaha's unparalleled support for college baseball and proven track record for Olympic swimming. After careful consideration and a realistic review of all Nebraska-related accomplishments over the past year, it's truly an honor to share the following 15 Husker Highlights from an inspiring 2015:
