The national champion Nebraska volleyball team earned the No. 1 ranking in the final 2015 AVCA Coaches' Poll.
The Huskers jumped from fifth to first after their run through the NCAA Tournament, which culminated with a 3-0 sweep of Texas on Dec. 19 at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha before an NCAA-record crowd of 17,561.
Nebraska finished the season 32-4 overall and captured its fourth national championship in school history and first since 2006.
The Huskers' No. 1 ranking marks their 86th all-time appearance at No. 1 and first since Sept. 10, 2012. Nebraska and Stanford are the only programs to be ranked in all 494 AVCA Polls since its inception in 1982.
