Hall Named To Academic All-District First Team

LINCOLN, Neb. - Nebraska volleyball middle blocker Cecilia Hall was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 First Team on Thursday.

A senior from Linkoping, Sweden, Hall carries a 3.67 GPA majoring in biochemistry. A two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and four-time academic All-Big Ten selection, Hall is averaging 1.74 kills and 1.04 blocks per set for the Huskers this season. Hall has a team-best .300 hitting percentage. 

Hall is the first member of the Husker volleyball team to receive academic all-district honors since 2013 and becomes the first first-team honoree since 2012. 

Hall will now be eligible for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors, which will be announced on Dec. 10.
