The Nebraska soccer team (5-3-2, 1-1-2 Big Ten) is ranked 21st in the RPI, released on Monday.
The Huskers are coming off a win against No. 43 Ohio State and a tie against No. 2 Penn State over the weekend at Barbara Hibner Stadium. NU shut out the Buckeyes on Sunday, 2-0, behind goals from Courtney Claassen and Caroline Flynn. On Friday, Flynn scored Nebraska’s lone goal in a 1-1 draw against the Nittany Lions.
Among Big Ten teams in the RPI, the Huskers are fourth, behind Penn State (No. 2), Rutgers (No. 9) and Northwestern (No. 19).
The Huskers return to action on Friday against Purdue in West Lafayette, Ind. The game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. (CT) and will be streamed on BTN Plus.
