Lincoln - The Nebraska women's basketball team will tip-off its 2014-15 season with an 11 a.m. start against Pepperdine in its regular-season opener on Saturday, Nov. 15.
The game had previously been listed as TBA while the Nebraska Athletic Department awaited the announcement of its football game time for its Big Ten Conference showdown with Wisconsin in Madison next Saturday. The football game will kickoff at 2:30 p.m.
The No. 16 Nebraska women's team will tip at 11 a.m. on Saturday, then make a short turnaround to take on Alcorn State on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 5 p.m. It will be a busy 26 hours at Pinnacle Bank Arena, as the Husker men's basketball team will tip-off its season against Northern Kentucky on Sunday at 1 p.m.
