Penn State Coach Coquese Washington

Opening Statement
"I thought Nebraska played extremely well. I thought they capitalized on opportunities that they had and when they had open shots, they made them. They went to the free throw line and they are a very good free throw shooting team and knocked those down. I think they pulled off the energy from the crowd and that was a strong component for them. They were just clicking on all cylinders tonight and when you meet with a team whose had one of those nights where everybody was clicking, where everyone was having a good night. Those nights are tough to beat. It's tough to beat teams when they are having those kind of nights and there's no doubt Nebraska played extremely well tonight.

On if Nebraska is a really good passing team
"Again I thought they took advantage of open opportunities if we made mistakes, or they did a really good job of being patient and finding the open person and knocking those shots down. Yea, they are a good passing team and they share the ball. They've got players who can make plays and have a variety of people who can be play-makers and like I said they were clicking on all cylinders."

On the job Nebraska did defending Maggie Lucas
"I thought they did a good job of trying to make Maggie take tough shots, so she didn't get a lot of clean looks tonight."

On the contributions of Ariel Edwards and Dara Taylor
"Well, I thought Ariel was pretty aggressive and did a good job of getting to the basket and making some things happen that way."

On if this is the type of game that they will be able to overcome
"Absolutely. I just think it's one of those things where you go on the road and you play in tough environments. We've got some really good venues in the Big Ten where people come out and support their team. Nebraska is one of those venues. Michigan State is one of those venues. Purdue is one of those venues. Iowa is one of those venues. And we've been on the road and we've competed and handled our own on the road and tonight was a night where Nebraska - they played an outstanding game and as a coach when you're on the other side, you are feeling pretty good about all your kids coming through and being focused and executing and it's fun to be on that side of it."
