The Nebraska divers travel to Houston, Tex., on Monday, Mar. 11, for the 2013 NCAA Zone D Diving Championships held at the University of Houston's CRWC Natatorium. The Zone Diving meet is a qualifying meet for the NCAA Diving Championships held March 21-23 in Indianapolis, Ind.
Divers from Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas and Wisconsin will be competing at the meet. Kailey Harmon, Amy Herman, Nicole Schwery and Payton Michaud will be representing the Huskers, competing in the one-meter, three-meter, and platform dives.
The meet will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday with the women's three-meter diving competition. Tuesday will see the Huskers compete in the one-meter dive, also beginning at 10 a.m. The meet will conclude on Wednesday with the final event, the women's platform dive, starting at 11 a.m.
