Huskers in the NFL - Week 12

In Week 12 of the NFL season, several former Nebraska football players played major roles for their teams.

Lavonte David of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers continued his success on the field by recording eight total tackles in a 24-23 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Washington Redskins defensive back Dejon Gomes recorded six total tackles and one fumble recovery while teammate Niles Paul hauled in a touchdown. The Redskins beat the Dallas Cowboys, 38-31, on Thanksgiving.

Alex Henery of the Philadelphia Eagles went a perfect 3-for-3 on field goal tries, with kicks from 36, 41 and 45 yards. Henery is 20-21 on the year with a long of 49 yards. The Eagles lost to the Carolina Panthers, 30-22, on Monday Night Football.

New England Patriot Alfonzo Dennard recorded five total tackles, one pass deflection and one fumble recovery in a 49-19 win against the New York Jets on ThanksgivingNormal0falsefalsefalseEN-USX-NONEX-NONE.
