On the difference between having Rex Burkhead or Ameer Abdullah in the backfield
“There really is not a difference. We have Rex (Burkhead), Ameer (Abdullah), Imani (Cross), Braylon (Heard) back there. It just depends on the Coach (Tim) Beck's game plan going into the game. It really doesn’t matter who is back there.”

On what Burkhead brings to the field
“When he is on the field the fans and the team are both very excited. We know that he will give 110 percent every time. “

On what he can say about the senior class (29 seniors)
“I am going to miss them, and I think this is the closest our team has ever been. I am really close to a lot of them. This is a great senior class.”

On why he thinks this is the closest the team has ever been
“We have been through a lot together. In the offseason we have done so much together. Coming into the final game, we have been through tough games.”

On if he is reflective of his time here
“I have been here for awhile now, and [after next year] it is coming to an end for me as well. I am getting sad about it, but also excited."

“He has been awesome for me. We have been roommates for the past two years. He is always over at my house. I am really going to miss him. I love him, so I’ll miss him a lot.”

“We just pay attention to us, because if we lose, we're gone. We will just keep taking it one game at a time. As long as we keep winning we will be just fine.”

“No, we just take it one game at a time, just like any other approach to the game. We just have to go in there and play our game. If we come out with the win, then we do. If we come out with a loss, so be it.”

On how he has seen Bo Pelini grow as a coach
“He has calmed down a lot on the sidelines. I think he has calmed down with the refs and players. I think he has grown a lot.”

On how he feels after last Saturday's game against Penn State
“I feel really good right now. I dinged up my ankle, but that’s okay. I just try to block out my ankle, you can’t focus on it very much.”

On whether or not the coaches have given him the green light to run more this year
“Yeah, pretty much. It just depends on where the game is and how it is going.”
