Huskers in the NFL - Week 7

In Week 7 of the NFL season, several former Nebraska football players played major roles for their teams.

Tampa Bay linebacker Lavonte David continued to have a great rookie season by recording eight total tackles and a pass break-up in a 35-28 loss to New Orleans.

Alfonzo Dennard of the New England Patriots made his first start of the season against the New York Jets. He made a big impact in the game by recording two total tackles, one pass break-up, and his first career interception. The Patriots won the game in overtime, 29-26.

New York Giants' Prince Amukamara started Sunday and recorded six total tackles with one pass break-up in a 27-23 win against the Washington Redskins.

Kyle Vanden Bosch had an outstanding game against the Chicago Bears on Monday night by recording three total tackles and two sacks. Teammate Ndamukong Suh recorded two total tackles and one sack.
