Wilken Earns Big Ten Honor

Lincoln, Neb. -  Nebraska junior Morgan Wilken was honored by the Big Ten Conference on Wednesday after being selected as the Big Ten Field Athlete-of-the-Week. The accolade marks her first Big Ten outdoor track and field weekly award. 

Wilken took home the honor after placing first in the discus at the Drake Relays with a throw of 183-7 (55.95). Her mark ranks first in the Big Ten and fifth nationally.

 

Nebraska returns to action this weekend as the Huskers host the Nebraska Invitational on Saturday, May 5 at Ed Weir Stadium.
