Walnut, Calif. - While most the Nebraska track and field team is competing at the Kansas Relays, a select number of athletes have traveled to the Mt SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif., for three days of competition.
Jarren Heng opened the first day for the Huskers with a third place finish in the 3,000 meter steeplechase open, posting a personal-best time of 8:58.49. Jessica Furlan went on to record a time of 10:45.35 in the women's 3,000 meter steeplechase Olympic development elite. Katie White finished seventh in the women's Olympic development 10,000 meters, recording a time of 34:54.78.
