Wright Earns Big Ten Honor

Lincoln, Neb. - Nebraska sophomore Chad Wright was honored by the Big Ten Conference on Wednesday after being selected as the Big Ten Field Athlete-of-the-Week. The accolade marks his first Big Ten outdoor track and field weekly award.

Wright earned the accolade after recording a first-place finish in the discus (195-08) at the Arizona State Invitational last weekend. His discus mark ranks first in the conference and second in the NCAA this season.

Nebraska returns to action this weekend as the Huskers travel to the Arkansas Spring Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark.
