Get to Know Jordan Tyrance

Redshirt freshman Jordan Tyrance has been a valuable member of the Husker scout team, making his Husker debut in the Feb. 18 win over Illinois. The Lincoln Southwest product had one point and two rebounds in the final two minutes of the Huskers' 80-57 win. He comes off a career high four minutes of work at No. 6 Michigan State on Saturday night.

In high school, he averaged 11.1 points and 8.2 rebounds per game, ranking among Class A (largest class) leaders in rebounding. He is a second-generation Husker as his father  (Patrick) was an All-Big Eight linebacker and academic All-American at Nebraska, while his mother (Renita Robinson) won an NCAA triple jump title as a Husker.
