Big Ten Conference Player of the Week Jordan Hooper continues to post amazing numbers in her sophomore season.  J-Hoop posted her 10th career double-double and seventh of the season with 21 points and 11 rebounds in Nebraska's 62-48 win over Indiana Thursday night in the Huskers' first-ever home Big Ten game.  It was Hooper's fourth straight double-double and sixth consecutive game of at least 20 points.

Freshman forward Emiily Cady had perhaps her best game of the season with a career-high-tying 18 points, nine rebounds and a career-high five steals.  Freshman guard Tear'a Laudermill came off the bench to spark the Husker defense and added nine points.  The win gave NU a 2-0 start in league play and improved the Huskers' overall record to 13-1.  Next up for Nebraska is a Sunday afternoon game at Iowa.

The Hawkeyes improved to 10-6 overall and 2-1 in Big Ten play with a 69-62 overtime win over Illinois Thursday night.  Combined with a loss at Ohio State Monday afternoon, the game with Nebraska will be Iowa's third in the same week.

Iowa is a very guard-oriented team that plays four out and one in regularly. They have started the same five players in every game this season. Junior guard Jaime Printy is Iowa's go-to player.  She leads the team in scoring (17.3 ppg), steals, assists and three-pointers.  Although only shooting 4-of-17 from the floor in Thursday night's win over Illinois, Printy still had 20 points, making 11-of-14 free throws.

Morgan Johnson, a 6-5 junior center, is an experienced post player who is light on her feet. Her .803 free throw percentage is tops among all NCAA Division I centers.  She is second on the team in scoring (14.8 ppg) and leads the team in rebounding (6.1 rpg) and blocked shots. Johnson had a double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds to go along with five blocks in Thursday's win over Illinois.

Kamille Wahlin, a 5-8 senior guard, is third on the team in scoring (10.6 ppg).  She is also third on Iowa's career three-point list (195).  Samantha Logic, a 5-8 point guard, was a WBCA, McDonald's and Parade High School All-Amercian and was the Wisconsin High School Player of the Year last season.  She is second on the team in rebounds (5.9 rpg) and adds 8.3 points per game. Senior forward Kelly Krei rounds out Iowa's probable starting lineup. She adds 7.4 points per game.

Lisa Bluder is in her 12th season at Iowa and 28th overall as a collegiate coach.  She has won three Big Ten Coach-of-the-Year honors and has taken the Hawkeyes to 10 straight post-season appearances. A long-time coach at Drake prior to taking over the Iowa program, Bluder faced Husker Coach Connie Yori many times when Yori coached at Creighton.

Iowa leads the all-time series 7-4 and won the last meeting 71-67 in Lincoln during the 2005 WNIT postseason.  The Huskers are 0-3 all-time at Iowa City and have not played there since 1990.
