Harmon, Ramsey and Walker to Compete at USA Diving Nationals

Three University of Nebraska divers will take part in the USA Diving Winter National competition taking place from Dec. 15-22 in Knoxville, Tenn. Kailey Harmon, Alyson Ramsey and Kaitlan Walker will compete in the one-meter springboard competition and the three-meter springboard competition.

Preliminaries will take place on Dec. 15-16 with the 3M dive on Dec. 15 and the 1M prelim on Dec. 16. Warm ups begin each day at 8:00 a.m. with events beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Quarterfinals for the 1M will take place on Dec. 17 and the final round will be on Dec. 18. The 3M quarterfinals will take place on Dec. 20., with semi-finals and final rounds on Dec. 21.

Results will be available on usadiving.org and on divemeets.com.

The Nebraska divers most recently competed at the Iowa Invitational held Dec. 2-4. Walker earned a sixth-place finish in the 3M event at 282.50 and earned a tenth-place finish in the 1M. Ramsey earned a twelfth-place and a fifteenth-place finish in the 1M and 3M, respectively. Harmon owns a season-high 249.30 score in the 1M and 272.18 in the 3M, both in exhibition dives against UNO.
