Q&A with Harleen Sidhu

Nebraska's Harleen Sidhu is in her senior season at Nebraska. The 6-1 forward from Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, has been a leader on and off the court in her Husker career, despite battling nagging injuries. Sidhu entered her senior season having played in 66 games with three starts.

Harleen took a few minutes out of her busy schedule to answer a few questions to provide a little bit more insight about her life off the court.

Favorite TV show as a kid: Recess
Favorite sports movie: Love and Basketball
Favorite meal: Home made traditional Indian food for dinner
Favorite vegetable: Carrots
Favorite class you've taken: Human anatomy but I think the bowling class I'm going to take next semester might just top that.
What you would do with a time machine: Go back in time to when I was a kid, when picking toys at a toy store was my biggest dilemma.
Celebrity crush: Josh Duhamel and Cam Gigandet
When you're not competing, you like to: Spend time with friends and family, eat, and sleep
Superpower you wish you had: To be able to fly so I could go home whenever I wanted
Pregame rituals: A prayer and some quiet time
Best friend on the team: They're all great. It's tough to pick just one. 
Why you chose Nebraska: Great people, great atmosphere. A lot of support for the sports teams. Also, the university is a top university, and I knew that I would get a valuable education and experience. 
Best thing about Nebraska: The people of this state and how much love they show for all of the athletes. 
What you want to do after college: Get accepted to medical school and become a doctor
