One of three freshmen on the 2011-12 Husker roster, David Rivers has been a winner throughout his career. The 6-foot-7 guard/forward won three state titles at Little Rock (Ark.) Hall High School, averaging 19 points and seven rebounds per game as a senior. Rivers also won an AAU national title playing for the Arkansas Wings in 2010.
