Associate Head Coach Sunny Smallwood sat in for Coach Yori at Big Ten Media Day this morning. Coach Smallwood gave a brief update on Coach Yori's progress in her return from her complications to offseason knee surgery.

Coach Smallwood also talked about how fast the Husker freshmen have adjusted in practice and how much more intense practices have been this year compared to last year.

Coach Smallwood and Lindsey Moore have chatted with Vera Jones and Debbie Antonelli from the Big Ten Network. Also good to see them and great to finally be ready to talk about women's hoops full time now.

The season is just days away.
