A Message from Coach Robin Krapfl

Huskers,

Three tournaments in three weeks is a lot of competitive golf, especially since the first one was on the West Coast and the next two were in Indiana and the Eastern Time Zone. What a great opportunity though to play Sahalee, the Donald Ross Course at French Lick, and then Crooked Stick. Three great golf courses - two of which are among the best of all-time.

Madeleine Sheils led the way in all three, highlighted by her win at the Edean Ihlanfeldt hosted by the University of Washington. She also finished in the top five at the Hoosier Fall Invite at Crooked Stick.

Our freshman Shelby Martinek is feeling more and more comfortable, as demonstrated by her one-under-par 71 at Crooked Stick.

Kayla Knopik has been solid throughout in spite of some back issues.

I feel good heading into our final fall event. I feel like all five of our starters are ready to play their best golf. They have worked hard and have good memories from the Briggs Ranch Course and the Alamo Invitational.

Go Big Red!
Robin
