DeZiel Places 13th at CoverGirl Classic

Chicago, Ill. - Future Husker Jessie DeZiel continues to impress in national competition, recently finishing 13th in the all-around (41.55) at the 2011 CoverGirl Classic on July 23 in Chicago.

DeZiel came in third on vault (14.80), tied for 14th on beam (13.35) and finished in a tie for sixth on floor (13.40) en route to her all-around finish.  

A product of Twin City Twisters in Champlin, Minn., DeZiel captured the all-around title at the 2011 J.O. National Championship in Long Beach, Calif. in May. She will compete at the 2011 Visa Championships in St. Paul, Minn. August 17-20.
