Mara Griva capped a stellar senior season with two First-Team All-America accolades at the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Championships, bringing her total at Nebraska to 10… earned two second-team All-America honors at the 2013 NCAA Indoor Championships… finished fourth in the long jump with a leap of 21-0 ¾ and sixth in the triple jump with a mark of 44-2 ½ at the NCAA Championships… won the 2013 Big Ten Outdoor long jump (20-9) and triple jump (43-5 ¼) titles, completing her sweep of the horizontal jumps in the Big Ten during the 2013 season… tallied outdoor first-team All-Big Ten accolades… was named the Big Ten Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year and of the Championships… was named the Big Ten Co-Field Athlete of the Week during the outdoor season... set outdoor season-best marks of 44-3 ½ (13.50) in the triple jump, 20-10 (6.35),21-0 ¾ (6.42) in the long jump and 136-1 (41.49) in the javelin during the outdoor season… also posted a personal-best time of 25.41 in the 200 meters during the outdoor season… won the long jump title at the 2013 Drake Relays with a mark of 20-6 ¼ (6.25) and also won the triple jump crown with a leap of 44-3 ½ (13.50) … at the NCAA Indoor Championships she finished 10th in the long jump (19-11 1/2) and 11th in the triple jump (42-4) at the NCAA Championships... earned the Big Ten indoor long jump title with a season-best leap of 20-9 (6.32)... finished second in the triple jump at the conference meet, posting a season-best jump of 42-11 1/2 (13.09)... earned first-team All-Big Ten honors... posted a season-best time of 8.00 in the 60 meters at the NWU Invite... notched a personal-best time of 25.97 in the 200 meters at the Holiday Inn Invitational... was named the Big Ten Indoor Field Athlete of the Week once during the season.

Griva earned two more All-America accolades in 2012... finished first in the triple jump at the 2012 Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships, recording a mark of 42-9 1/2 (13.04)... finished second in the long jump at the conference meet with a leap of 20-7 3/4 (6.29)... earned first-team All-Big Ten (indoor long jump) and second-team All-Big Ten accolades (indoor long jump, outdoor triple jump) for her efforts at the conference meet... produced an impressive outdoor campaign for the Huskers... notched a season-best leap of 20-8 (6.30) in the long jump at the Nebraska Invitational on May 5... also recorded a season-best mark of 42-5 1/2 (12.94) in the triple jump at the Drake Relays on April 28... finished fourth in the long jump at the 2012 Big Ten Outdoor Championships with a mark of 19-6 1/4 (5.92)... finished second in the triple jump at the conference meet with a mark of 42-5 1/4 (12.93)... recorded a seventh-place finish in the long jump at the 2012 NCAA West Preliminary Round with a leap of 21-2 1/2 (6.46)... also finished fourth in the triple jump at the meet with a mark of 43-7 3/4... earned honorable -mention All-America accolades in the long jump at the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Championships, posting a leap of 19-8 1/4... earned second-team All-America honors in the triple jump after finishing 15th with a mark of 42-4 (12.90)... was an academic All-Big Ten selection... earned a spot on the Spring 2012 Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll... was a 2012 captain.

2011 (Sophomore)
Griva produced an impressive first year with Nebraska, claiming four Big 12 titles in 2011 and earning four All-America honors... earned the 2011 Big 12 Indoor Triple Jump crown with a personal-best mark of 43-3 3/4... recorded a personal-best mark of 20-10 in the long jump to take the 2011 Big 12 Indoor crown... also notched a season-best 7.99 in the 60 meters at the NWU Invitational... finished 14th in the long jump at the 2011 NCAA Indoor Championships with a mark of 20-1 1/2... also finished 16th in the triple jump at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a jump of 44-8 1/4... claimed second-team All-America accolades in the triple jump and long jump... took the 2011 Big 12 Outdoor long jump title with a mark of 20-10... finished with a personal-best triple jump of 45-3 3/4 at the 2011 Big 12 Outdoor Championships to claim the triple jump title... finished 11th in the long jump at the 2011 NCAA Outdoor Championships with a mark of 20-8... took fourth in the triple jump at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a jump of 44-8 1/4... was a first-team All-American in the outdoor triple jump and a second-team All-American in the outdoor long jump... also notched a personal-best 5-7 high jump at the Nebraska Open... recorded a personal-best 136-4 in the javelin at the WSU Classic.

Before Nebraska (Ventspils University College)
Griva joined the Huskers as an accomplished horizontal jumper from Ventspils, Latvia... took third at the Latvian National Championships in both the long and triple jumps with personal-best leaps of 20-2 1/4 and 41-5 1/4, respectively... broke her outdoor personal best in the long jump in May of 2010 with a leap of 21-4... cleared a PR of 43-7 one month later in the triple jump... won the long jump (20-6 1/2) and placed second in the triple jump (43-2 1/4) at the outdoor national championships.
