Huskers Look to Defend Title in Nevada

Primm, Nev. – The Nebraska men’s golf team returns to action on Monday and Tuesday after two weeks off to compete in the Jackrabbit Invitational.

Primm Valley Golf Club (Desert Course), a par-72, 7,090-yard layout, will play host to 14 teams, including Big 12 foe Missouri.

The Jackrabbit Invitational tees off at 9:15 a.m. (Central Time) Monday morning, with the second round immediately following. The final round starts on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m.

The Huskers are coming off a 10th place finish at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate after shooting 911 over three rounds. Senior Andrew Wyatt led the way with a tie for ninth individually.

Last year the Huskers won the Jackrabbit Invitational by 15 shots over Arkansas State. Brandon Crick led NU, earning medalist honors with a 9-under-par 207 total for the tournament.
