The annual Nebraska Softball Soup Supper, scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 1, has been postponed due to impending inclement weather. The Soup Supper has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 6:30 p.m., and the event will now be held on the third floor of West Memorial Stadium.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>
With the postponement, fans have an additional chance to register and attend the Soup Supper. Fans wishing to still attend the Soup Supper are asked to please RSVP to AJ at (402) 472-8801 by Wednesday, Feb. 2. Cost to attend the Soup Supper is $10 per person ($5 for Lil’ Red Sluggers members; ages 6 and under eat for free).
Those who have already reserved a spot and paid to attend the Soup Supper on the original date do not need to register again. Fans who have already paid and are no longer able to attend the Soup Supper are asked to please contact AJ at (402) 472-8801 and inform her that they will not be attending. Those unable to attend should inform AJ if they would like a refund or if they would like to donate their fee to the softball program.
Fans attending the Soup Supper on Feb. 8 will have the chance to meet the 2011 team, get autographs and pick up free posters and schedule cards. A silent and live auction will also be held, with the proceeds directly benefitting the Husker softball program.
Highlighted auction items include autographed items from Husker athletics, including Tom Osborne and Bo Pelini, golf packages, softball equipment and more.
