The Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office has a number of holiday specials for fans who want to see the Husker basketball team in action over the holiday break. The Huskers are 8-2 on the season and have won six straight games heading into Saturday night's 6 p.m. game against Eastern Washington.
The Valentino's Family Value Packs are available for Nebraska's games against Eastern Washington (Dec. 18) and North Dakota (Jan. 2) and includes four tickets, four slices of Valentino's Pizza and four Pepsi products for $40. The Valentino's Family Value Packs can only be purchased in advance by calling the NU Ticket Office at (800) 8-BIGRED. The Valentino's Family Value Pack is not available for purchase online or on game days.
In addition, seats in the Red Zone Student Section are available to the general public for $15 for any of the four men's basketball holiday games (Eastern Washington, Grambling State, North Dakota and Savannah State). In addition, current UNL students also can purchase Red Zone seats for $2 per game, as the holiday break games are not included in student season tickets.
Seats for any of the four games over the holiday break can be purchased for as little as $5 apiece by visiting Huskers.com, calling 800-8-BIGRED or visiting the NU Athletic Ticket Office during business hours (8 a.m.-5 p.m., Mon-Fri.).
Beginning this week, the Marketing Office will be doing the "6 Days of Christmas" on the Huskers official Facebook (facebook.com/huskers) and Twitter sites (@huskers) with special discounts on the men's and women's holiday break basketball games. The first promotion for the contest will take place on Wednesday.
