Lincoln -- The Nebraska men's basketball program will join the annual U.S. Marines Toys for Tots Drive this Saturday, Nov. 27, when the Huskers take on USC at the Devaney Center. Tip time is set for 5:05 p.m.
Husker fans are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to the game, and cash donations for the cause will be taken. The Marines will be stationed near entrances throughout the Devaney Center to accept donations that will brighten the holiday season for needy children.
The men's basketball Toys for Tots collection will be the last of four co-sponsored by the Nebraska Athletic Department at Husker events this month. The women's basketball team hosted the first event on Nov. 17. The Nebraska volleyball team will participate at the NU Coliseum on Wednesday, Nov. 24, against Baylor and the Husker football team will join in the toy collection at Memorial Stadium on Friday, Nov. 26, against Colorado.
