Lincoln - Coach Bo Pelini and the Huskers met with the media at Memorial Stadium on Monday to discuss a variety of issues, including Nebraska's final Big 12 regular-season game Friday against Colorado.
The No. 16 Huskers (9-2 overall, 5-2 Big 12) will be battling for a spot in the Big 12 Championship Game when they take on the Buffaloes (5-6, 2-5 Big 12). Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. with live coverage provided by ABC. Nebraska is also looking for its 10th win of the season, which would give the Huskers back-to-back 10-win seasons for the first time since 2000-2001.
The Huskers can clinch the Big 12 North Division title with a win on Friday. To earn a repeat trip to the Big 12 Championship Game, Nebraska will have to take on a resurgent Colorado squad. The Buffaloes sat at 0-5 in the Big 12 two weeks ago, before Dan Hawkins was fired and Brian Cabral was named interim head coach. Since then, Colorado has posted back-to-back home victories over Iowa State and Kansas State.
Pelini also addressed fallout from Saturday's game at Texas A&M and the status of quarterback Taylor Martinez.
