Huskers in the NFL - Week 9

Green Bay running back Brandon Jackson reached the end zone two times to highlight Huskers in the NFL in Week 9.

Jackson helped lead the Packers to a 45-7 rout of the Dallas Cowbows as he began the scoring with a nine-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the second quarter, while also adding a two-yard touchdown run to put Green Bay ahead 14-0. Jackson finished the night with 42 rushing yards and 26 receiving yards. He now has four total touchdowns in 2010.

Linebacker Stewart Bradley had a big day in Philadelphia's 26-24 win over Indianapolis, as he had eight total tackles and a pair of pass deflections against Cody Glenn's Colts. Also on the defensive side of the ball, Scott Shanle of the New Orleans Saints tallied five stops in a 34-3 win over Carolina.

Former Husker defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh and offensive lineman Matt Slauson met in the trenches as Slauson's New York Jets edged the Detroit Lions, 23-20. Suh had three tackles in the contest, but the most notable moment of the game occurred in the third quarter when he attempted a PAT kick for the injured Jason Hanson. Suh's kick had the distance and height but clanked off the right upright. Teammate Kyle Vanden Bosch finished with five tackles in the loss.
