Nebraska-Vermont Tip Set for 11:35 a.m.

Lincoln - The Nebraska women's basketball team's season opener with Vermont will tip-off at 11:35 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13.

The tip time, which had been TBA, was set Thursday after the Nebraska Athletic Department announced that the Husker football game with Kansas will be televised by FSN pay-per-view with a 6 p.m. kickoff.

Vermont earned a trip to the second round of the 2010 NCAA Tournament and finished with a 27-7 overall record. The Catamounts won the America East Conference Tournament championship, after finishing the regular season as the America East runner-up with a 13-3 conference mark.

Nebraska concludes exhibition play on Sunday, Nov. 7, when the Huskers take on Nebraska-Kearney. Tip-off time at the Devaney Center is set for 2:05 p.m.
