Lincoln - Coach Bo Pelini and members of the Nebraska football team met the media for a special Monday morning press conference at Memorial Stadium to discuss the Huskers' Big 12 opener with Kansas State on Thursday.
Nebraska's weekly press conference, which is usually held on Tuesday at Memorial Stadium, moved to Monday to accommodate the Huskers' Thursday night kickoff with the Wildcats, which will be televised live nationally by ESPN.
The No. 7 Huskers head into their Big 12 opener with a 4-0 record, while K-State also brings a 4-0 ledger into the contest in Manhattan, including a 1-0 Big 12 mark with a win over Iowa State.
Pelini said Nebraska was able to utilize the week off and the extra days of practice to take a closer look at all phases of the game.
"I don't think that it's we've done anything bad, but there are many things we need to fix. I don't think there is anything where we said this just doesn't work, but at the end you also say we can do this better," Pelini said. "These wrinkles or these different things can help us be more multiple. I think it's been a very productive time this last week. I've gotten a lot out of it personally."
