Nebraska vs. SDSU Pay-Per-View Information

(Updated Thursday, Sept. 23) -Nebraska's Homecoming football game against South Dakota State on Saturday, Sept. 25 will be telecast via pay-per-view on participating video providers.  Kickoff for the contest is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.

Information about how to purchase the telecast, including a list of participating video providers is attached.  The list of providers will be updated throughout the week, so fans are encouraged to check back regularly for updates on Huskers.com and FOXSportsMidwest.com as they become available.

For the first time this season, Nebraska's pay-per-view contests will be available in High Definition. Suggested retail price for the pay-per-view telecasts is $39.95.  Participating providers will offer the telecast to their customers on specially designated pay-per-view channels.  The telecast will not preempt FSN's regularly scheduled programming.

The game is being televised on pay-per-view because it was not selected for over-the-air broadcast or cable television coverage.  Nebraska and FOX Sports Net (FSN) are working together to make the game available on a pay-per-view basis, giving fans an option to watch a game they otherwise wouldn't be able to see on television.  FSN's pay-per-view division will produce and distribute the telecasts. 

Other Nebraska games could possibly be shown on a pay-per-view basis if they are not selected by one of the Big 12's television partners. Those TV choices will be made six to 12 days in advance of kickoff. The NU-SDSU game will be the Huskers' third pay-per-view contest of the season, joining the Western Kentucky and Idaho games.

The following video providers offered Nebraska's game with Idaho on a pay-per-view telecast. A list of updated providers will be added throughout the week.  For availability in their specific areas, customers should contact their video provider or check Huskers.com or FOXSportsMidwest.com for updates.
