September Employee of the Month - Eric Haynes

Eric Haynes was named the Nebraska Athletic Department Employee of the Month for September of 2010. Haynes is the 10th winner of the monthly award and was selected after being nominated by a member of the Athletic Department staff.

Haynes joined the Nebraska Athletic Department staff as a stadium crew supervisor in 2004, and was promoted to assistant director of athletic facilities in the fall of 2006. 

 

Haynes oversees the maintenance of the athletic department facilities including Memorial Stadium and the new Tom and Nancy Osborne Athletic Complex. He also coordinates the maintenance of the grounds at the Ed Weir Track & Field/Nebraska Soccer Stadium and the Ed and Joyanne Gass Outdoor Practice Fields.

 

Haynes also assists with event setups in all athletic department facilities, including Memorial Stadium, the Bob Devaney Sports Center and Bowlin Stadium.

 

A native of Sterling, Neb., Haynes attended Nebraska Wesleyan University, where he received a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1992.
