Nebraska men's golfer Neil Dufford led after the first round of the West Texas Amateur Championship on Friday after shooting a first-round 65. Dufford led by two strokes heading into Saturday's second round at Amarillo Country Club in Amarillo, Texas.
The sophomore-to-be from Midland, Texas, recorded a 30 on the front nine, thanks to three birdies and an eagle from 120 yards out on the 430-yard, Par-4 eighth.
