July Employee of the Month - Chad Chiesa

Chad Chiesa was named the Nebraska Athletic Department Employee of the Month for July of 2010. Chiesa is the eighth winner of the monthly award and was selected after being nominated by a member of the Athletic Department staff.

Chiesa joined the Nebraska Athletic Department as a microcomputer specialist within computing services in 2009.

 

Originally from Omaha, Chiesa is pursuing his bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha College of Information Science and Technology, where he is majoring in information systems and quantitative analysis. During his time as an undergraduate, he began working for the college as a systems assistant before assuming a role as an operations administrator/network specialist for the Peter Kiewit Institute. He went on to become the institute's lead network administrator.

 

While in high school at Omaha North, Chiesa also worked in the athletic department, serving as the lead video technician for football, basketball and soccer; a statistician for football and basketball contests; and assisting in the management of event logistics for home varsity football contests.
