20 Huskers Named to Honor Roll

Head Coach Jay Dirksen’s Nebraska cross country team accounted for 20 of the 328 University of Nebraska student-athletes named to the 2010 Big 12 Commission’s Spring Honor Roll. The selections were well balanced between the men’s 12 honorees and women’s eight honorees.

The cross country team also produced six student-athletes that earned a perfect 4.0 GPA during the spring semester.

The Husker women who carried a 4.0 GPA during the spring included, Erica Hamik, Jen Pancoast and Katie White. For the men, student-athletes who earned a 4.0 GPA were, Brett Grieb, Matt Shipp and Bryce Somer.
