Bremerton, Wash. - Nebraska senior Brandon Crick is tied for fourth heading into Saturday's final round at the NCAA West Regional at the Gold Mountain Golf Club Olympic Course. Crick is at two-under-par 142, three strokes behind the leader, Darren Wallace of Washington.
Crick recorded an even-par 72 on Friday to go with his first-round 70 from Thursday. The McCook native is tied with Gunner Wiebe of San Diego. Washington's Richard Lee and Denver's Espen Kofstad are tied for second at 140.
Washington continues to lead the team race comfortably at 569. Illinois is second at 585. USC and San Diego are tied for third at 586, while Oregon State is clinging to the last qualifying spot for the NCAA Championships at 587.
The top five teams and the top individual not on one of those five teams qualify for the NCAA Championships. As it stands, Kofstad is in position for the individual spot, while Crick is second.
Saturday's final round tees off at 9:50 a.m. (Central time). Crick tees off in the last group at 11:50 a.m.
