Huskers Head to Wayne for Clinic

Wayne, Neb. – The Nebraska volleyball team travels to Wayne, Neb., on Saturday, April 3 for a clinic at Wayne State College. The event is in conjunction with Wayne State and will feature a behind-the-scenes look at Nebraska volleyball as well an autograph session with the Huskers and Wayne State.

Tickets cost $10 per person (students and adults) with all seats reserved. Rice Auditorium doors will open for the event at noon. To sign up and/or purchase tickets, fans are encouraged to visit wscvolleyballcamps.com or call 402-375-7303 for more information. 

The day starts with the Wayne State volleyball team delivering on-court instruction for players in grades K-6 in the WSC Rec Center from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The Huskers will make their first appearance of the day when they hit the Rice Auditorium court for a behind the scenes look at Nebraska volleyball starting at 1:00 p.m. During the clinic, the Husker coaching staff will deliver comments and instruction for the fans.  The clinic is an opportunity for both young players and adults to learn more about volleyball from the Husker and Wildcat coaching staff and players.  Following the clinic, an autograph session will take place in Rice Auditorium with Nebraska and Wayne State volleyball players that is open for all fans in attendance.

The Huskers will conduct their annual coaches clinic in Lincoln next weekend and will play three spring matches, highlighted by a home contest against Illinois on Saturday, April 17, at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale for the match by calling the NU Ticket Office at 800-8-BIGRED or visiting Huskers.com.
