Huskers Place 15 on Academic All-Big 12 Team

The Nebraska swimming and diving team placed 15 members on the academic All-Big 12 Team, the conference office announced. Senior Kaitlin Arntz earned her third straight appearance on academic All-Big 12 first team, and was one of nine swimmers and divers in the conference to achieve a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Nine other Huskers were named to the first team, including both Kelsey Ida and Sarah Ziegelmann, who along with Arntz also earned their third consecutive appearance on the academic All-Big 12 first team. Five other Huskers earned spots on the second team.

The Big 12 Championships starts on Wednesday night in College Station, Texas. The event runs through Saturday evening. Check back with Huskers.com for updates on the meet.
