LaVista, Neb. ? A crowd of over 200 people was on hand for the Nebraska baseball team’s Husker Home Run Club Meet and Greet event at the Embassy Suites in LaVista Saturday morning. They got the chance to listen to Coach Mike Anderson talk about the upcoming season, a Q and A with fans in attendance as well as autographs with Huskers players and coaches.
The Huskers begin practice this Saturday, Jan. 30, and will hold their third preseason event, the yearly Home Run Club Banquet, on Friday. Feb. 5. For more information on the banquet, contact the baseball office at (402) 472-2269.
