This Weekend?s Husker Basketball Games Include Santa and Family Entertainment

The Nebraska men's and women's basketball teams are catering to the holiday spirit this weekend, inviting Santa into their starting lineups and featuring fun family entertainment at halftime of both games.

The Nebraska men play Jackson State at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

The 20th-ranked Husker women host 5th-ranked LSU on Sunday, Dec. 20, at 1:05 p.m. in a promotion called "Pack the Devaney."

To help that cause, children attending both games can take their photo with Santa and Herbie Husker in the upper Northwest Concourse, beginning 90 minutes before tip-off of each game.

Fans will be able to take photos until the start of each game, using their own cameras. Youngsters are also encouraged to bring their letters to Santa, and will be delivered to the United States Postal Service.
