For the fourth consecutive season, Nebraska basketball coach Doc Sadler will meet with Husker fans during the season as part of the popular Talk with Doc series. The dates for the 2009-10 Talk with Doc lunches and dinner are now set and fans can begin reserving their spaces today for the events in Lincoln and Omaha.
The engaging coach will have his first events on Tuesday, Nov. 3, when he starts the speaking series in Omaha. The event starts at 11:30 a.m. with a lunch before Sadler addresses the crowd and takes questions about the upcoming season. The event will be held at the Old Mattress Factory at 12th and Cass Streets in downtown Omaha. The cost will be $20 per person.
Later that day, Sadler will meet and greet Husker fans in Lincoln with a dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Station in the Haymarket. Cost for the dinner event is $25 per person. Fans must register by Oct. 28 for the Nov. 3 events.
After kicking off the season, Sadler will have one more appearance at the Lincoln Station as he will have a luncheon on Thursday, Jan. 7 at 11:30 a.m. Sadler will recap the non-conference slate and dive into his thoughts on the Big 12 schedule, which will begin just two days later in College Station, Texas, when the Huskers take on Texas A&M on Jan. 9. The cost is $20 per person and registration is due by Jan. 3.
