Lincoln ? The Husker Home Run Club is inviting the public to have breakfast with the Nebraska baseball program on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Hawks Field.
The event, which runs following the Huskers’ practice until Noon, will feature breakfast with danishes, muffins and coffee and a chance to watch the Huskers go through fall drills, including a live scrimmage. There will be an autograph and photo areas for kids who will also have a chance to run the bases at the ballpark.
The event is free for Husker Home Run Club members and all children under the age of 13, but $5 for non-members. The Husker Home Run Club will have membership information and merchandising order forms available for fans to purchase items.
The meet-and-greet event is one of the first opportunities to see the 2010 Husker baseball team before its annual Red/White Series from Oct. 8-10.
