The Nebraska volleyball program is teaming up with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for the annual Read to Succeed Book Drive this Sunday, Sept. 13, as part of the Ameritas Players Challenge at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
Husker student-athletes will be collecting books prior to the Huskers’ match against UCLA and all books collected will go to families of children from Title 1 Lincoln Public Schools to promote a life-long love of reading. In addition, all fans who bring books or a cash donation for the Read to Succeed Book Drive will be eligible to win an autographed volleyball from the 2009 Huskers.
