Crick Maintains Lead at Nebraska Amateur

Nebraska men's golfer Brandon Crick maintains a one-stroke lead over John Hurley at the 101st Nebraska Amateur Championship heading into Friday's final round at Ironwood Golf & Country Club in Omaha.

Crick shot a 3-under par 69 in Thursday's third round to move to 13-under par for the tournament, one stroke ahead of Hurley, the Nebraska Match Play champion. Andrew Storm is in third place, five strokes back of Crick, the 2007 Amateur champion. Crick and Hurley will tee off at 11:14 a.m. in Friday's final pairing.

Former Husker Ryan Nietfeldt is in fifth place and Husker sophomore Austin Zimmerman is tied for 10th. NU junior Mike Coatman moved into a tie for 20th place with a 4-under par 68 on Thursday.
