The ESPN 50 States Tour visited Nebraska Wednesday, and it featured an important milestone in the history of the Nebraska Athletic Department – the first satellite feed using HuskerVision’s new high-definition equipment.
ESPN College Football Live Correspondent Windi Nix interviewed Nebraska Athletic Director Tom Osborne as part of the show, which re-aired on ESPN and ESPN2 Wednesday night and on ESPNU Thursday.
Nix asked Osborne about the state of football in Nebraska and about the difference between being a head coach and an athletic director. She also asked Nebraska’s athletic director about his expectations for the Huskers in 2009 and what they have to do to return to the dominance that his teams experienced in the 1990s.
Osborne finished the show describing why he recently wrote his new book, “Beyond the Final Score: There’s More to Life Than the Game”.
