Crick Tied for 15th at Public Links Championship

Nebraska senior Brandon Crick is tied for 15th after the first round of stroke play on Monday at the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship at Jimmie Austin Golf Club in Norman, Okla.

Crick shot an even-par 71 and is five strokes behind the leader.

After Tuesday's second round of stroke play, the low 64 scorers out of 155 participants will qualify for the match play portion of the event, which begins on Wednesday. Crick qualified for match play in the 2008 U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship, but was defeated in the first round by the eventual runner-up.
