Four current members of the Nebraska rifle team and one former Husker earned a spot on the Big 12 Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll, the Big 12 Conference announced on Monday.
Junior Ryann McGough headlined the list, earning a 4.0 GPA, making her one of 52 Husker student-athletes to achieve that feat. The psychology major has made the honor roll in all four semesters of her Husker career, including three times with a perfect GPA.
Senior Amanda Jeffries has also qualified for the honor roll every semester of her Husker career. This semester's selection marked her sixth consecutive honor. Fellow senior Christine Costello made the list for the fifth time, and sophomore Sheena Mahloch, a pre-pharmacy major, earned her second straight appearance on the list.
Former Husker Kim Chrostowski, who last competed for NU in 2007-08 and graduated this spring, earned a 4.0 GPA as a history major. Chrostowski made the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll all 10 semesters she attended UNL.
