Oklahoma City, Okla. ? Nebraska first baseman Tyler Farst was honored Tuesday, as he earned honorable-mention All-Big 12 honors, as the league announced its all-conference teams.

Farst, a junior from Cedar Park, Texas, earned the honor after hitting a team-best .333 with three homers and 36 RBIs in a team-best 52 contests. He topped the Huskers in hits (63), runs (36), doubles (15) and multiple-hit games (19) while ranking second on the team in RBIs.

Farst hit a team-high .384 in Big 12 games, ranking fourth in the league in conference action, as his average was the best average in conference play by a Husker in four seasons. He had a pair of four-hit games on the season (at No. 11 Oklahoma on March 29 and against Missouri on May 3) and drove in a career-high five RBIs against Northern Colorado on March 24.
